Delta Waterfowl As president—and founder—of the Illinois Prairie Chapter of Delta Waterfowl, John Denker prides himself on the local mentality shared by his group. The chapter, which has about 500 members, is located in the heart of the state, 130 miles south of Chicago. But Denker also points out that they have collaborated with agencies up to the national level on projects. Denker grew up in Dwight, Ill., and lives with his wife right across the border in the Iowa town of Bettendorf. |
